Beadwork Magazine & Cynthia Rutledge present:
Regina's Pearls Necklace
Kit
Combining the
allure of history with contemporary products, this design focuses
on a central CZ set in a fine metal. The stone is embellished
with pearls in the Elizabethan style and suspended from a fabulous
pearl-encrusted, beaded chain that creates a necklace worthy
of a queen.
You will learn
how to set a 10mm CZ, which is really cool! After that, we head
for building a 3-D pendant shape using a variety of techniques
to create a channel of beadwork that will later hold the 8mm
pearls. Using seed beads, a form of wrapping creates the final
edge of the pendant. The necklace chain is a very unique approach
to Netting. It is beautiful and lends itself to a many variations.
