I was very honored to be a Designer of the Year for 2011 by Beadwork Magazine. There were four of us sharing this honor - Carol Wilcox Wells, Sherry Serafini, Kelly Wiese and myself.

I created six designs throughout 2011 featured in the magazine. Some of my designs are available as a kit to go with the instructions in the magazine. I have these kits for sale on my web site.

Other designs were done as detailed instructions only in the magazine. I enjoyed sharing my designs with you in the magazine.

My first design, Shimmering Shells Lariat, was in the February/March 2011 issue of Beadwork. A perfectly peyote-stitched bezel encircles four engraved shell pendants, creating a beautiful pair of two-sided focal pieces in this sophisticated lariat design.
