This bracelet
is named after Aurora, the goddess of the dawn in Roman Mythology.
It is created using peyote stitch, netting, surface embellishment
techniques, bead embroidery, entrapment techniques and stringing
resulting in a fabulous piece. The Aurora Bracelet consists of
a central cabochon that has been entrapped using netting, then
bead embroidery is added around its circumference to increase
the size of the centerpiece. Multiple strands of decorative beads
make up the band as it heads for the close with peyote stitched
tabs and a button.
Skill level: Intermediate.
