The necklace
is finished except for the closure. This is a stopping point
for a lot of my students. Most feel that the closure is sort
of an after thought or a "make do" just to get it finished.
I like to add that little special touch to my work, a handmade
closure. I will warn you, they are addicting! Beyond Buttons
is a collection of new buttons that I have designed. Techniques
I use are peyote, herringbone and Brick stitches, bead embroidery,
edge and blanket stitching, surface embellishment and much more.
Skill level: Intermediate.
