Fairy Flutter (left) &
Peek-a-Boo Teardrops (right)
No matter what
fashion has dictated through the years, earrings have always
played a large part in most womens wardrobes. Earrings
have been a way to wear small pieces of art in your ears as a
statement of a persons taste.

These are two
distinctly different styles of earrings. The first pair is called
Fairy Flutter (shown on left in photo above), as the little wing
shapes flutter and swing from a chain when worn. This style is
made using a Netting technique and lots of fringe embellishing.
The second pair of earrings is called Peek-A-Boo Teardrops (shown
at right in photo above). As this lovely teardrop shape swings,
the teardrops show a bit of the wearers neck through the
opening of the shape. This design is also articulated so the
teardrop swings from an inverted heart shaped base for a very
attractive look. Made using a Netting and embellishing technique
along with Flat Peyote stitch, this design offers a lot of possibilities.
