This necklace
starts with the basics: a great palette of color, surface embellishment
on unsupported sculptural shapes, the wearability of a lariat
and you have the makings of a wonderful neckpiece!
This necklace
has a rich palette of color, uses increasing and decreasing peyote
stitch to create shapes, a soft chain that I call Ruth's Twist,
adds texture with the use of surface embellishment and a fringe
that is the focal point of the neckpiece.
Skill level: Intermediate to advanced.
