Beaded clasps
and closures can be a challenge, so part of this series deals
with the issues of shaping wonderful connections that lend an
air of elegance to an otherwise simple piece. Double needle Netting
with terminals of either 4 mm Fire Polish, 2x3 faceted Czech
rondelles, pearls, semi-precious, or metal kicks this simple
stitch up a notch. The Netting is gathered up into flat Peyote
stitched triangular tabs, that have windows in them, so that
a swinging toggle can close the bracelet around your wrist. This
whole connection is hidden behind a beaded flange behind the
clasp. It is a very clean connection and a worthy addition to
your beading skills.
