Have
you been wondering how to make a 3-D shape in peyote stitch?
It can be a challenge
but here is a great pendant that uses increasing and decreasing
peyote stitch techniques that can help you hone your skills.
The shape is conical with an embellished bead shape at the top
that flows into a beaded loop. The pendant is embellished with
a variety of surface techniques including stitching in the ditch,
netting, edge stitching and spiking.
Simply Elemental
Necklace was designed as an add-a-bead necklace. The Simply Elemental
Components portion of your kit is the compliment to the necklace
kit. You will build stopper beads that look like small beads
using increasing and decreasing peyote stitch. The stopper beads
will be stitched to the necklace as desired. Built around these
stoppers will be a series of floating rings, a triangle and an
embellished box. The techniques used will be peyote stitch, edge
stitching and embellishing. Make one, make all three. It is up
to you!
