My new series deals with connections that add elegance and complexity to an otherwise simple technique. This necklace combines the simplicity of netting with a beaded buckle closure. Single needle vertical netting flows into terminal beads then into a long fringe that terminates with an assortment of wonderful shapes. A flat peyote stitched buckle is embellished elegantly and adds just the right touch to this piece. Little embellishments around the edges of the netting and sprinkled in the fringe finish off this piece so well that it is a dream to wear. The necklace is light and flows like water.
