Start with the
basics: a great palette of color, surface embellishment on unsupported
sculptural shapes, the wearability of a lariat and you have the
makings of a wonderful neckpiece!
The focus of
this workshop will be on how to build a palette of color, the
use of increasing and decreasing peyote stitch to create shapes,
a soft chain that I call Ruth's Twist, adding texture with the
use of surface embellishment and building a fringe that is the
focal point of the neckpiece.
